I’ve been wanting this piece for ages. It’s based on an art nouveau wall panel design by Margaret MacDonald Mackintosh. I’m a very happy woman right now.
I like it.
It’s absolutely gorgeous. I love it!
Thanks love. I’ve been planning it for ages and I am so happy to finally have it.
beautiful! how many tattoos do you have? I love every one of mine. :)
Thanks. I have five now and likewise, love every one of them.
Nice, it looks great. I want a tattoo but keep making excuses, the most common being I don’t know what I want. Oh, and being completely chicken! Did it really really hurt?
Tattoos do hurt but this was not very painful as forearms are a pretty fleshy part of the body. The really painful ones are against bone. I have one on my ribcage that hurt a lot. You do need to have a clear idea of what you’d like, otherwise you’re likely to hate it pretty quickly. You should go for it though, it’s pain with a purpose so that makes it more tolerable and I really love all of mine, even the one I got when I was 17.
It’s really striking, isn’t it? She’s lovely. HUGE though….did that hurt?
Heh, yeah, it is big. It’s the first tattoo of mine that is on a usually visible part of my body. All of the others (I have four others) are in places that I can easily hide with clothes but my forearm is right out there so I’ll have to think about what I wear in certain situations a bit more. It wasn’t very painful, no. I mean tattoos hurt but your forearm is nice and fleshy so it hurts much less than say, your ribs. I have one on my left side and THAT was painful.
